Our dedicated driver of the trip BRADLEY since he cant handle being a passenger he always seem to drive long trips without letting me drive.
Well on to our road trip to Portland, OR we drove down with the boys. We left at 11 am a late start as far as I was concerned but we had to wait on Brad's computer arrival and then we had to wait as he went to an emergency service call...sometimes I cant stand what some clients think is emergency but hey who cares they pay right! The trip started really rough. Carter thought it would be fun to stick his feet on everyone and just invade their space. It was Brad great idea to take his truck instead of my very comfy suv with a dvd player! Well we paid for it. The kids scream and scream. At one point I debating just pulling over turning off passenger airbag and sticking Carter in the front seat in his carseat. He was such a terror! But thank goodness after we hit Ontario we decide to stop for lunch and after some food in everyone belly the two older ones took a nap which made it hard for Carter to pick on them while they were out cold. The boys from then on out just played their ds and played with their wendy's happy meal toy what a life saver. Below is a photo of Carter showing me his little devilish feet he was using as weapons but oh doesn't he look so innocent.
Then here is how cute my other two looked sleeping... which only occurred right after lunch and right before we pulled into Portland. The boys were trying to stay up as long as they could cuz they couldn't wait to see Brooke & Luke.

As soon as we got to the hotel around 9 pm (mst) the kids were in our room playing. Luke & Brooke joined the boys and they just loved it. We ordered in Chinese and just hung out for the night. We did take all the kids swimming at the pool while the big boys like you Jr & Brad watched football...so boring but overall we all had a great stay at our hotel. It was nice and very inexpensive for the three nights we stayed.

All the kids just loved the pool. The one bummer for us adults is the hot tub warmer was broken so it wasn't much warmer then the pool but the kids sure loved it either way. It was so foggy in there I had a hard time taking photos but enjoy what little did work kinda.
More Portland blog fun to come...man you only wished I was done with this but we did so much and had such a blast we have to share it.
I totally know what you mean about driving -- Ron NEVER lets me drive, even on short trips.
